# Getting Started

**Creating your first Application**

Once your create an application you will receive an application key, the key can be accessed from you application list. with this key you will be allowed to consume content.

**API Keys**

Access to the Celltick Content API is governed per application using the API keys that are assigned for each application implementing the API. If you intend to use the Celltick content API in several different applications, multiple API keys should be generated for each application. Each API key is a globally unique string of hexadecimal characters that is registered by Celltick. Each API key is associated to your publisher’s account.
